As Co-Director of the Space Technology And Industry Institute at Swinburne University of Technology, I help bring together cutting edge scientific research and expertise that supports Australia’s growing space industry and that can be translated into impactful real-world applications.
When I am not studying space or sending things there, I am empowering future space leaders by creating immersive hands-on learning experiences and communicating the wonders of the Universe.

Leadership
As Co-Director of Swinburne’s Space technology and Industry Institute I have extensive experience bridging the gap between fundamental blue sky research and essential industry translation.

Research
I have investigated and explored how the environment of the early universe affected galaxy growth over time. I now utilise those skills in such fields as Earth observation for climate resilience.

Engagement
It all begins with an idea. My passion is sharing knowledge about the latest space research to help inspire others and drive innovation. I regularly appear in traditional media and give talks to audiences from industry to primary school.
